Many people are not told that using a drug for a short while can create a physical dependence that can give way to a permanent addiction.
A woman in her 40s had been on replacement drugs for 23 years and still needed a controlled/observed drug dose every 2-3 days. She first visited me in August 2022, after multiple C19 injections and not feeling ‘right’ within herself, I assessed and balanced over 23 of her bodily systems, which she described as feeling “opening up” each time. With her systems balanced, we were able to shift focus to addressing her history of heroin dependency.
The various drugs (Buprenorphine was just the latest) was apparently designed to help her ‘safely withdraw’ from the heroin she had been using in her teens. It was meant to “reduce the negative effects of withdrawal (and make it…) easier to stop harmful drug use”. However, if she went longer than 2 days, she experienced severe withdrawal symptoms, so I began treating her monthly.
She had developed deep-seated fears of going without (the drug) and consequently had developed many mental and emotional issues around doing this. Although she was determined to overcome the constant demand her body had for this strong opioid ‘replacement’.
With regular sessions, many of her fears and physiological (body) symptoms were reduced and enabled her to gain employment for the first time in 10 years as well as moving into her own place, which were both massive and exciting improvements for her.
The doctor eventually provided a tablet (for me to utilize) that significantly improved her treatment, particularly with withdrawal symptoms. By using the tablet (on her body) to interact with her microbiome, remarkable progress was made.
I didn’t see her for a short while before Christmas 2023 due to work, but by January 2024, she informed me via text that she hadn’t visited the chemist since early December and remained drug-free. She was delighted, saying, “it just kinda happened, so I’m going with it.” She was able to do this without fear or emotional trauma. As of May 2025, she is still drug-free.
Note: Every person is unique and receives treatment tailored to their specific needs. However, I have successfully treated several drug dependency issues (Note: the client is responsible to keep their doctor informed) allowing the individual to safely and comfortably overcome their dependency no matter how long they’ve been on them.
